The WCKA comps dates for 2010 will be made public fairly soon.... so keep an eye on www.wcka.co.za and WATCH this space.

I'm keen (subject to my new ski being available) and would prefer to fish that side after the shark attack news from Fishhoek beach today...

We must maybe just confirm with them. The last time they were happy that we enter with the kayak's still on the roof of
the car and then drive and launch at 3 Anchor. Would be a far paddle from OPC to where most of the big fish are.
We can hold it as a warm-up for maybe an official WCKA comp for the future.

I am in if we can enter on the day and all the kayak anglers start and end at the same place.

Re: OPC Cape Bream Comp.
The last time I spoke to them they all launched from OPC boat club next to the waterfront, but they said the paddlski guys can enter in the morning and launch from 3 anchor bay in Sea Point. Most of the good size fish is closer to the seapoint swimming pool, so it's a nice 4 km row to the fishing places.
Last time I wanted to enter I but the wind prediction didn't look to good at Sea Point. Depending on Weather I might do it , but I can only say closer to time.
