Re: Stealth Team VS Kaskazi Team Fishoff Challenge
Come on guys, only 2 responces?? If we dont have at least 4 for each team it will be boring, we will instead just get together as usual if we dont get at least 4 per team.

No problem, but there will only be 2 Teams. Everyone can choose which team they will be supporting irrespective of what ski they own or will be fishing off.

LOVE THE STRAND Always more edables than sharkies, just look at my fridge..
I my defence the only time I went over, the only reason I could not get back in was a stupid rod holder I installed
that was sticking a foot out of the deck where I must climb on. The Kaskazi cannot be mounted from the BACK like you guys
are use to "MOUNTING".
I would have gotten on if I was prepared to throw the rod holder over board, but rather stayed calm and just needed a leg up
to get over the Kaskazi crate. No panic what so ever and this happen in the flat water 100m from the beach at Simonstown.
The reason I have never practised mounting and dismounting because the sea is to cold, that's why I have the lagoon at Elands to go and do that
this holiday.

Just to clear this up! No one is harming any Smoothies or Spotties they are strictly catch and release.
As long as any edibles are size it is kayakers choice whether he wants to keep or just tally score.
Re: Stealth Team VS Kaskazi Team Fishoff Challenge
leave them out of the point systemBulkCarrier wrote:I think they are wishing the spotties and smoothies will leave them alone in Strand.
You have as huge problem with sharks when fishing for cob in strand.
They are usually first to the bait. For every cob you must first catch about 5 sharks.

And while we are on the subject of ANGLING should I point out that catching crayfish is really not angling...ahem
So crayfishing isn't fishing. That's a good thing seeing that it sounds like you guys blanked. Good thing it isn't
fishing otherwise you guys isn't very good at it.

Re: Stealth Team VS Kaskazi Team Fishoff Challenge
We just don't answer stupid comments and we don't put stuff like this on our catch list "8 KG Cob, had one of estimated 12-15Kg at the yak but hook pulled"
I am in for Team Kaskazi, but people just fishing where they feel comfortable and know a little bit about the area sounds rigged.
That's why I wanted to make it a multiple day event, but I will still give you a go , even in your home water.
