For a mere R200 I managed to put this little baby together.

You need 8.6m PVC pipe... ideally i would have liked to have used 50mm pipe, but benbel only had stock of 40mm at the time.
12 x T's

The pipe must be cut into lenghts of
2 x 1.7m
4 x 0.7m
4 x 0.25m
4 x 0.06m

Then Insert the cross beams.

And then insert the long beams.

And you are done.

Awesome, any idea if it's strong enough to hold two kayaks if you put on another ''shelf'?

Thats one of the reasons I when with T pieces and not 90' corners... But for a 2 tier rack i would go with 50mm pipe just for piece of mind.

But definitely do-able... as Rudolph said... "PVC ...Best Lego ever made".
