Focus on the Gordons bay area, along both Harbour walls old and new, then the 5 houses from about 1km from the side, alot of red fish, Red Roman ect. Also run a Rapala behind the breakers from Strand to Gordons Bay.

Re: Weekend Ahead - Where Who What
Who is all going to the competition on Saturday 17th???
If you have any info to share on best baits, location, water depth, ex. Please share, I know it is a comp, but for the guys who are not Strand locals like me, it a far drive too fish in the dark.
Anyway you get the idea.
Best of luck to all, whoop whoop.

Johnny I stay in Langebaan
Michael LANGEBAAN wrote:Johnny, yes the water is still a bit cold but the fish are coming out.
This week that lies ahead until about Thursday expect too catch some steenies.
With the moon phase as it is right now and the nice days we experienced as well as a good weather forecast for the week all indications are there.
I am planning on going Tuesday morning until Thursday.
Will report back on the success.

Re: Weekend Ahead - Where Who What
Hi Guys,
Two things, KAYAK FISHING RULES!!!!
Also, when you do go out near a know rock and/or surf and/or reef spot, please remember to give the guys on the side enough room to cast so that they can get their baits into the holes. They will still see all the fish being caught and want to buy a kayak too.
The other thing is, KAYAK FISHING RULES!!!!
I am going out in the strand tomorrow morning, evening and possibly Sunday morning if anyone wants to join me give me a call: Karl 076 1952188
