I was fortunate enough to be there by boat. So no car in the car park.

Was your bakkie still there in one piece after the paddle. Very dicey! they had riots down there the other day. My folks had to be diverted through Kayelitsha. What will become of this beach road? but then again they all coming to the Strand so maybe one day there won't be a problem there. scratch affraid confused

Any reports... yesterdays weather was great but the early morning strand fisherman had no catches to report. On the western side of False bay Jan Vaaljas was making his appearance well known with numerous sightings from the beaches. shark

Hi Shafiq.

Hope you got some fish in langebaan. Sounds like it was a bit dead.

I want to come and paddle on your doorstep on Sat or Sunday so that
the two of us can go hunting.

Have you found out what lures we need. I want to go and get some.

Cheers Rudolph

Howzit Shafiek... long time no hear, or see or speak.

Well Sunday produced some good crays and quickly from Pringle Bay. Other than that we had some fun with light tackle hitting the hotties before the NW turned things up side down. Upon a rather rough landing the weather turned for the better (for a change) and things looked good again.

Hangklip had some good (others not so) catches of Geelbek on saturday night. Fish seemed to come on the bite late with boats having between a fishermans 0 and 7 fish.

Hopefully things will calm down after Christmas so will try to get cray quota in the mornings and some cob or geelbek in the late afternoons (if the weather does not look to bad).

you will blank after working very hard like smellabitfishy.

Best is to come and join us one day and check how to rig and what equipment you needed.

After a long day on the water and only crays to show, I went looking for kob at melkbos.
Found Clown and landed the biggest black tail I have ever seen on my first fishing trip at Melkbos.
Got out the water at 20h30, its great when the family is away on holiday. yahoo

welcome Chris, i'm sure there will be a bunch of us out the Weekend, keep track of where and when in topic "weekend ahead"

Okay so today was plenty plenty paddling, rushed to cape point after hearing Glen bellowing "tail" before leaping into his chopper but nothing,..trawled from buffels 'man alone' to the point and back. Stopped and tried for tubes in usual spot, got 1 in 20 min and decided was wasting my time and hungry for my tuna sandwich which keeping cool in my cooler box in the car.

Thought would have better luck at Simonstown so packed up and relanched at Simons, after nothing in 20 min left there are drove back to strand and like the die hard that i am, decided to go out at blakes but once again "0"

Anyways was good paddling so when the tail are there its gonna be Whipping

peace
